Responsibilities

We are looking for a  DIrector of Warehouse & Receiving to joing TEAMBLEAU!  This role is responsible for the Leadership of the warehouse and receiving team, ensuring proper handling of all food and beverage products, receiving all deliveries and maintaing proper financial accounting of all warehouse items. The individual in this role is also responsible for managing inventories and organization of on site and off site warehouses.
 
Examples of Duties, includes but is not limited to the following: 

 

  1. Oversee and manage the day-to-day operation of the warehouse functions.
  2. Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all inbound and outbound freight, inventory control and processing.
  3. Ensure security of building and product integrity.
  4. Manage warehouse and inventory control managers and supervisors to ensure proper flow of all inbound and outbound merchandise to our internal and external customers.
  5. Maintain a clean and safe environment throughout our distribution center.
  6. Comply with all USDA, OSHA, and other Government regulations.
  7. Provide training to all warehouse associates in order for them to do their job.
  8. Manage the production and accuracy of day and night warehouse receiving, slotting, order picking.
  9. Prepare and manage budget for the warehouse departments.
  10. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Precision and detail of organization and cleanliness
  • Ability to operate a forklift, stacker and pallet jack and certified.
  • Positive mental attitude
  • Effective supervisory and communication skills. 

  • Well organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills. 

  • Familiarity and proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel and specialty inventory programs.

  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff. 

  • High school education or equivalent. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • Minimum of five years warehouse experience.
