General Summary of Duties:
Under direction from the Director of IT, the Systems Manager, IT Operations is responsible for the stable, reliable and predictable operation of Fontainebleau IT infrastructure, including the Conference Group activity, voice and data communications. The Systems Manager, IT Operations works closely with division heads to understand their system needs and helps them leverage technology to create a competitive advantage. This position has accountability for setting targets, monitoring performance, and managing the IT functions in an efficient and effective manner.

Requires mobility. Requires prolonged walking, sitting, and standing. Eye/hand coordination and manual dexterity. Ability to distinguish letters, symbols, and colors. Ability to push and/or pull a file cabinet weighing five to fifteen pounds.
Typical Working Conditions:
Work is usually performed in an office environment. Ability to tolerate varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination, and air quality.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equal level of competency in the Hotel technology field, The emphasis is based on Computer Science, Information Technology or directly related field.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in senior IT Operations role, for a high volume, complex environment.
License/Certificate:
Nortel or Cisco industry certifications preferred.
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) and Network+ certification preferred.
